One of my college pastors used to tell us students to always leave a place better than how we found it. I embodied this in my career and it’s core to my leadership. Do things right and the success will follow. Case in point, we increased the total revenue of a client by 300% in nine months, leading to the acquisition of the company.
We could have spent 2 days crafting the perfect email, but if the subject line was rubbish, it was all for naught. We obsessed over the details and tested to refinement. We landed a 55% average open rate and 16% average click rate across our email marketing accounts.
